Thanks to PANETA and its dedicated volunteers, two women from the Mkuranga outreach in January have delivered their precious bundles of joy— might I add, they delivered safely with clean equipment because of our maternal delivery kits.

Don’t forget we have another Safe Delivery Kills Mortality outreach this May. Our goal is provide 100 kits. We need your help! Join us at the link below.

PANETA feedback

Late last year PANETA launched the first of many projects to promote preventative health care to the underprivileged rural communities of Tanzania– through health education and health screenings.

PANETA started this project in Northern areas of Tanzania, including the Arusha Region, Monduli District, and the Mfereji Ward. From January 25th – 27th, PANETA will be launching the same project in the Coastal Zones of Tanzania, including Kisarawe and the Mkuranga District.

However, we will also be adding another component to the upcoming project that will include distributing Maternal Delivery Kits to pregnant women in these areas. The goal of this project is to help reduce the maternal and neonatal mortality rates.

One delivery kit costs approximately 50,000 TZS ($25). PANETA’s goal is to provide 100 kits. We need your help to make this possible. Are you interested in contributing to this project? You can contribute financially online by visiting this link https://www.givesendgo.com/Panetamaternaldeliverykits or contact us at info@paneta.or.tz or send us a message on Facebook.

Post Christmas Celebration

Peri-urban and rural under privileged communities need intervention in many areas.

PANETA is choosing to focus on different health perspectives through ensuring improvement of health services and health infrastructures.

We stood with some families that are lagging behind by the provision of Christmas hampers, as we celebrated Boxing Day and the end of 2018.

Better is not enough the best is yet to come. Here comes 2019.
