Safe delivery kills mortality in mkuranga

On Saturday, January 26th, PANETA launched the “Safe Delivery Kills Mortality” project in Mkuranga District in the Pwani Region. PANETA provided antenatal education to a big group of pregnant women. We also delivered safe maternal delivery kits to the pregnant women from low economic class families.

PANETA believes that through the delivery of education and equipped delivery kits– maternal and neonatal mortality will become history in our underprivileged rural communities of Tanzania. Our target is to reach 1000 pregnant women all across Tanzania.

In June of this year we will be directing another outreach in another area of Tanzania. Please keep watching for our updates on how to support us in that project!

Fund raising for safe delivery kits

Can you imagine giving birth without sterile & clean equipment? I can’t!

Did you know that $25 could save TWO lives from maternal and neonatal death?

One Redeemer Ministries has begun to faithfully partner with Paneta (Peri-Urban Ambulatory Nexus TZ), as we have an upcoming outreach in the Coastal Region of Tanzania.

We are launching a new project from January 25th to 27th that will deliver safe maternal delivery kits to rural communities of Tanzania.

We prayerfully want to provide 100 safe delivery kits to expectant mothers. Each kit costs approximately $25. Will you join us to save the life of an expectant mother and her new little joy? PANETA feedback

Late last year PANETA launched the first of many projects to promote preventative health care to the underprivileged rural communities of Tanzania– through health education and health screenings.

PANETA started this project in Northern areas of Tanzania, including the Arusha Region, Monduli District, and the Mfereji Ward. From January 25th – 27th, PANETA will be launching the same project in the Coastal Zones of Tanzania, including Kisarawe and the Mkuranga District.

However, we will also be adding another component to the upcoming project that will include distributing Maternal Delivery Kits to pregnant women in these areas. The goal of this project is to help reduce the maternal and neonatal mortality rates.

One delivery kit costs approximately 50,000 TZS ($25). PANETA’s goal is to provide 100 kits. We need your help to make this possible. Are you interested in contributing to this project? Healthy community throughout Tanzania.

Every organization designs its vision and mission to be successful. PANETA wants to achieve a healthy community throughout Tanzania.

PANETA, as one of the health organizations in TZ, believes that providing health education and basic health screenings could initiate the motivation for preventative health care– which in return could lower the disease and treatment burden to increase the availability of heath care facilities in order to develop a healthier community.

The picture below indicates PANETA’s vision and mission toward creating a healthier Tanzania.
